A lack of self respect maybe? I hope everyone has someone in their lifes who loves them unconditionally and treats them with the respect they deserve. I find it sad that people have to look for love and try to fill the hole in their hearts with sex, drugs or alcohol.
Have you seen or read the "letter from God" on youtube? Its really good, your post reminds me of it.
